Taiwan Baptist Theological Seminary

What? The Seminary can register with Taiwan

Ministry of Education? Impossible!

¡@

YES, this is true, really true. Because God is the GOD OF THE IMPOSSIBLE!

Thank God, this is real, because nothing is impossible with God. These past fifty years or more, religious education was excluded from higher education. But now its importance is affirmed. Religious institutions, including seminaries, through the passing of a resolution by the Legislative Yuan, can now register to become accepted and recognized by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and the society as a whole.

Why is registration needed?

1.       It will qualify our graduates to teach religion courses in schools across the nation.

2.       It will enable the Seminary to train and equip more laborers for harvest in Mainland China and the whole world. It will also facilitate the processing of student visas and resident permits for overseas students.

3.       It will open the door for young people who are called of God to come directly to the Seminary for theological education.

4.       It will give legal status to the Seminary as a government recognized Christian institution.

5.       It will eradicate some of the prejudice that has existed for centuries toward the Christian faith.

God has opened the door and we are prepared to enter it.

This is God¡¦s timing for the Seminary to receive MOE recognition.

1.       God has led the MOE to confront the issue and willingly seek for a solution.

2.       God is preparing our students and churches for greater involvement in worldwide missions.

3.       God is calling some of the finest men and women to respond in faith and commitment.

4.       God has given the Seminary the facilities and personnel to meet the registration requirements.

5.       God is giving us an opportunity to ¡§walk out¡¨ in faith and claim His promises and providence.

Can we do it without you? NO!

We are partners with God in bringing God¡¦s message to the nations. We sincerely invite you to partner with us. We need your prayers and support.
